Our Mission is to strengthen relationships and improve quality of life for all residents and businesses in the North of Grand neighborhood. We commit to enhancing livability and revitalizing our historic neighborhood through opportunities of civic engagement. We advocate on behalf of North of Grand’s diverse residents as a liaison with local governments to preserve and uphold our community’s vibrant characteristics.

NoG Cat Walk: Saturday, September 26th
Noon to 1:30pm
Join us to visit the cats of the North of Grand. Meet at the Center Street Pedestrian Bridge between 39th and 40th St. Walking path to be announced. Free, but donations welcome.
NoG Architectural Walking Tour: Satuday, October 3rd (Rain Date, October 10th)
North of Grand Neighborhood 10:00-11:30am.
Join us for a free (donations welcome) walking tour of the North of Grand with Architect Tom Wollan. "How can you tell when a house was built or modified? You can check your abstract or the Polk County Assessor's page. Or you can take an architectural walking tour and look for details that tell the story. An Arts and Crafts home that was added on to in the 80's. a post-war rambler where the racetrack once was for the original location of the State Fair, or a new house placed in a vacant lot. Join the walking tour at the corner of 39th st and Woodland ave at 10am, Saturday, October 3rd (Rain date: Oct 10th)
